I worked with Alex on a shoot in Liberty Park, NJ while we were still dealing with the pandemic and social distance restrictions. Our shoot was a very well thought out conceptually and logistically. I had a great experience working with Alex on my headshots last year! [2021] He has worked with several friends of mine for years and they both recommended him to me; I was a little nervous to shoot as I have way less experience and am definitely less graceful than my friends! However Alex was so lovely-- helped me out in every way, put me at ease, answered all my questions quickly when we were figuring out details. I also explained what kind of look I was going for and he was very easy to talk to, definitely felt like we were a team and he never rushed me or anything like that. Not going to lie. Last weekend I was the biggest bundle of nerves as I thrifted some new blouses & dresses. I was so analytical about what would capture me well. I also spent countless hours researching talent signed by highly regarded NYC agents & took copious notes on their headshots. The hard work paid off though. Can't wait to share!
